The
Greek government behaves like a conqueror who retreats from the
occupied territories
by system
failure
While we
approach euro elections it becomes more clear that the Greek
government is counting days in power. An alarm is sounded by the
system which tries to prepare the new conditions so that can be in
charge again when new political powers will be called to govern.
There are
plenty scenarios according to which, Greece will go through triple
elections (euro-local-national) in May and so, the Greek government
will try to accelerate the application of new cruel measures, so that
the experiment should be completed with maximum success and
transferred to the whole eurozone. The government knows very well
that there is no chance to persuade people for its intentions and its
effectiveness since the everyday life of millions of Greeks becomes
harder and even numbers show the destruction of the Greek society and
economy, as Antonis Samaras himself admitted according to his recent
statements under the Greek EU presidency.
The
government, acting on behalf of the global neoliberal dictatorship,
part of which is the Greek bank-media establishment of course,
follows the tactics of the conqueror who destroys everything during
his retreat from the occupied territories. From the tactics of
downgrading and degeneration the government is passing fast to the
tactics of artificial destruction.
The aim is
simple: Apart from applying the desirable to the neoliberal doctrine
conditions, a collapsed economy and state will bring huge barriers to
the anti-memorandum powers which will be probably called to govern
the country with the Leftist party SYRIZA in front, according to the
polls and predictions. Through this way, neoliberal dictatorship will
try to shape the conditions, so that, those who will be called to
govern, will have very limited power to move in a different direction
and therefore will be forced to compromise and complete the
neoliberal experiment.
For the
moment, we should expect a rise of propaganda and provocative
operations from the systemic establishment, which has all the means
and power. Such operations will be increased dramatically, in case of
a potential anti-memorandum government coalition which will have the
will to resist, in order such a government to become unstable and be
replaced as soon as possible.
In such a
case, the central argument of the systemic establishment will be
that, the new government is unable to handle the big problems and
that it is responsible for the destruction of the country. So, this
is another reason for which the Samaras government wants to deliver a
"burning land" along with the power.
There is
already a preparation for the substitution of "undesirable"
governments with systemic-friendly ones, in which some "moderate"
new parties, such as the "Movement of the 58", will take
part. Therefore, in case of triple elections in May, there is a
possibility that Samaras will "sacrifice" his partner
Venizelos, the leader of PASOK, so that the neoliberal Right to
absorb what is left from PASOK and its voters and bring back
traditional Right voters by giving a sense of justice. At the same
time, the escape from prison of a convicted and self-confessed member
of the armed guerilla group November 17th, Christodoulos Xiros, gives
an opportunity to the system to plan new provocative operations.
In Europe,
it appears to be a tension for a silent downgrade of the oncoming
euro elections since Brussels' bureaucrats fear that new powers,
opposed to the rising neoliberal European economic empire, will
emerge. An empire which they've chosen to serve, sacrificing the real
European humanitarian values on the altar of the banks and markets.
A possible
massive rise of the Leftist parties as well as of the patriotic Right
in Europe, will sound an alarm for the bureaucrats who want to expand
the experiment to the whole eurozone.
